Seriously, im tired of playing a human character in every game, i want to be something else, be it a dog, cat, wolf or bird. Can anyone recommend some good games where the protagonist is an animal? These are somegood examples i can think of:

Lugaru

Sly Cooper

Okami

Donkey kong

Crash bandicoot

Plants vs zombies (anything besides a human counts)

Ratchet and Clank

Although most of those characters are anthropomorphic and I'm not realy sure that should count. Any other good ones?

Pandemic 1 & 2-Flash games where you play as a disease. You get evolution points to buy new disease traits over time to be more effective. You can choose to be a disease as a parasite, virus, or bacteria and they each have their own strengths and weaknesses. World of Warcraft - Has the Tauren race which is a minotaur (man/bull hybrid), or if you really meant by 'anything other than human' there are evils, orcs, trues and midgets... :P It has also has a werewolf race where you MUST fight in wolf form if that counts, and a druid can turn into a feline (which feline depends on the race) for melee DPS, a bear to tank or a... tree... to heal. Tekken 5/6 - A fighting that has 2 animal character, I haven't played much of Tekken 5 so I don't know their names but it consists of a boxing kangaroo and a karate bear, plus there is a robot (J.A.C.K., don't know what its name stands for) if that counts. SC 2/3/4 - Has a character called Lizardman, his name speaks for itself. The Sonic the Hedgehog games (his latest games aren't really as bad as everyone makes them out to be, and if you think they are then get his old games, they're a blast!) On the Nintendo Wii I think there was a game called Deadly Creatures where you can play as a Spider or as a Scorpion. And that's all I got.

  • Avatar: The Game - You play as a Na'vi

Heh, I was gonna suggest Devil May Cry because you play as a half demon, but you look like a human unless you use Devil Trigger. :P

Aliens vs Predator series. Each game has 3 campaigns. Besides human, you get to play as alien (or xeno... something) and predator.
