Hi, this is my first thread on GameSpot so umm... Go easy on me alright? Anyway, I just thought of an idea for the next Red Dead game (3). It is called Red Dead Revolution. It continues off of the mission Remember my Family in Red Dead Redemption. You play as Jack Marston and try to uncover the secrets of John Marston and Abigail Marston's past, when they were in the Van Der Linde Gang, There is also a Co-Op Campaign where you play as John Marston when he was in the Van Der Linde Gang. Hope you liked the idea and please don't steal it :) If you have anymore ideas just comment on them! Thanks!

I think that's a great idea, and probably the only way to do a sequel with that game. I would definitely play it. Maybe it would bring you through revolutionary Mexico, too, during the civil war.

Actually, not a bad idea for a sequal. Here all along I was thinking the game was fine without a sequal since all of the loose ends were tied up, however you gave some really good ideas to keep it really fresh.

I'd rather have DLC like with GTA 4 wich will finish the story.

Good idea. Gamespot should get a developer recommendation board.

I agree, new characters, story missions and content. rather than an entirely new game.

Oh and in the Co-Op Campaign you play as either John, Bill, Javier or Dutch. Thanks for the comments, I was going to email it to them but I didn't think it was good enough :D

thats actualy a good idea. but it goes against rockstar fashion of starting clean evertime with a new cast. the only games to ever have a recuring charecter is claude speed from gta 1-3 and hes mute so theres no continuety for him. but i wouldnt mind seeing a continuation of jack marston's story. but there is defently a just as interesting story to be explores elsewher

Really good idea. After the ending I was wishing there was more "story" to Jack, to learn a bit more, but great thoughts on the next one.

Jack is 19 in 1914. In 1911 (When John was still alive but died in the same year) he was 16.

I don't like your idea, if we dig up John's past then we get to see all the cruel and nasty things he once did, which would taint his character.

Yes, but the protagonist in Red Dead Redemption is John Marston... But I guess Jack is too since you play as him...
