Red Dead: The Movie?

I've heard a few rumours going around about a Red Dead Movie but I'm pretty sure it's just a lie. Can anyone tell me if there is or isn't going to be one? It would be great to have one though.

I've heard about the Brad Pitt rumours but I'm still pretty sure they've not started on a movie yet.

I don't think it would be a great movie though. The game has way too many stereotypical Western characters so the film would be a complete snooze.
