At the moment Im trying to get some of the better games on the GC, mostly ones I remember playing years ago. One thing I remember is I never got a chance to play either of the Pikmin titles for the 'cube and was wondering if any one can comment on these two titles.

They are... rather unique adventure titles. I haven't had a chance to get very far on Pikmin 1, and I've only seen the multiplayer on Pikmin 2 thanks to a friend.

However, I know that the first one is a very enjoyable game, if not a little difficult at times. You have to think a little bit ahead of time before you do anything in it. The unique time limit can make things a little frustrating at certain parts, but it's the good type of frustrating, where it makes you want to play more just to prove you can pass the section successfully. It also looks VERY AWESOME, almost beating out Metroid Prime.

I highly suggest both of them. They have a slightly steep price tag on them, but they're worth it.

If you have the Wii, Nintendo is re-releasing Pikmin soon, with Motion Controls. Kind of a lame use of resources, but I have never played them, and if Pikmin 2 is re-released as well I will probably end up getting it, thus supporting the Nintendo trend of un-innovative innovativeness.

I played the original Pikmin and regrettably sold it, but I still have the 2nd Pikmin game. Both are awesome adventures. The 2nd has more depth and no time limit, so I enjoyed that one more since it gave me the opportunity to explore a lot. If you can get your hands on them, go for it. They are unique and extremely fun!

Get them if you can. I got Pikmin 1 when it first came out but I paid $100 for a new copy of 2.

I hear that there are going to be Wii-makes. It might be better to wait for them if they're really coming out.

I've played Pikmin 1 and it's awesome. Pick it up. The second one is very expensive though.

They're coming out, as are both Metroid Prime games. I just hope they don't mess them up. Personally, I think I'll stick to the original versions, though I'll still get both of the MP games since I want to keep a copy of every Metroid game ever made...

i've got both, both are good. very fun games, and even though the first one is only single player, it's got a scoreboard with the fastest times completed. it only takes about 3 hours to get through it if you know what you're doing. so that could be some arcade style turn based multiplayer action.

The are my fave games on the Gamecube by far. I love them.

You will have a lot of fun with them if youre anything like me. But i know alot of people who hate pikmin. I think its an aqquired taste.
