Relationships

I've been a long time fan of Bioware, but since their involvement with EA, imo, their games' quality has been less than acceptable.

Is there another company that handles ingame relationships in the same fashion as Bioware? If so, are the games good quality? What Company? What games?

I'm not sure but it could also be the case if the original game designers are not working on the latest projects. Like, maybe game X they made which you liked was made by Jack, and maybe Jack doesn't even work with Bioware anymore?
