Reminder: COD:MW3 is not the first game were you fight the Russians in NYC

Anyone else remember "Freedom Fighters"? That game was pretty ill, and all the coverage of the manhattan levels in the next COD is reminding me alot of it(especially the shots of what look like russian subs in the harbor, identical to the intro to freedom fighters). Heres to hoping theres some homage to the games that paved the way for modern shooters in this next realese.

Yeah, it does look a bit like Freedom Fighters. Not that i mind...it is one of the best games I've ever played. IO Interactive said that they would like to make a sequel, but no new info so far. I read somewhere that they're gonna make Kane & Lynch 3 after they finish Hitman, so I wouldn't get my hopes up. At least not in the next couple of years.

Who cares? It's just another action setting that will have zero impact on the gameplay. Also, 'paved the way for modern shooters' makes it sound like it was an original idea in the first place. I have an idea: fighting the Chinese army in Los Angeles. I will sue anyone who makes it.
