Just preordered the game today in full, and the gamestop manager said there will be a midnight release for it. The only other time I have actually went to one of these things is when I went to the SSBB midnight release. That was fun, my question is to you is do you have anything in your area for a re5 midnight release aswell? if so and if not what do you think they will be doing for the re5 midnight release? would be cool if they hooked up a whole bunch of ps2, or gamecubes with RE-0 through 4 on that would be awesome..
I don't think the EB Games in my area will have a midnight release for RE5, and that's just fine with me. The only time I've ever gone to a midnight release to pick up my preorder was for GTAIV, and I sure didn't appreciate having some drunk ***** shouting in my face, and the faces of all others in attendance, who were there to pick up the PS3 version of the game rather than the 360 version. And I don't particularily care to be subjected to a similar experience, even though I've since become a 360-only owner.

It was mildly entertaining for the first five minutes or so, but soon enough it just became aggravating. I mean, you know how long those preorder line ups are, and there's nowhere you can go to get away from people like that.
