Resident Evil 5 Second Thoughts

I had been really looking forward to RESI5 but was disapointed by the Demo on XBL marketplace so nowhave not bought the game. Owners, please help me decide wether to actually get it as im a bit strapped for cash now and need to make sure It will really be worth it, even thoguh Resi 4 is one of my favourite games. Thanks

Ive been playing the RE series since the begining and absolutley love them. I can easily say that this is the best one, not the scariest, but it plays the best and going in with a friend is incredible

I really didn't like the demo, but I put my faith in the series and bought a copy anyway... They didn't really change anything from the demo. Luckily I got to play my friends copy before I unwrapped mine, I'm going to return it soon.

Co op with my friends is some of the most fun I've ever had with games. I actually like the slow mechanics and standing still while shooting, and I think it makes for a better game. With the added sluggishness you need to pick your priorities and you have less chances for messing up, making the game much more interesting.

I got the game on the 12th on a midnight release haha, it's awesome, I hope you can buy costumes in the future, 3 each haha there should be more, Ive almost got everygun fully tuned, just need two mor then im working on the exchange points haha its a good game

After beating it today, and looking back on it-- it was a fantastic game. I will surely play a few more times. Although not as groundbreaking as RE4 before it, RE5 is definitely worth the $60 if you're a die-hard Resident Evil fan.

Its my 3rd fav RE atm (behind RE2 being my fav and RE4 being my 2nd), co-op is really fun specially if you're doing it with a friend, the sp AI partner is annoying as hell though

If you liked RE4 you will certainly like this game. The game is in many ways almost identical to RE4 but with amazing graphics and cool online Co-op. The split-screen co-op is a little strange because it doesn't use the entire screen so you better have big TV.
