Capcom has gone to far, to make a special editon of a game worth more then the console your playing it on. What is wrong with them. Your thoughts???

$1300 for a replica jacket and a game. Sounds like a massive rip-off. At least the game will be good (hopefully).

Clothing can be expensive. A friend of mine was browsing clothes online and she came across a skirt that retailed for $1500. I've also seen shoes going for over $2000.

So assuming it's actually a nice jacket, the price isn't as ludicrious as it sounds. Is it a smart buy? No, but overpriced clothing is very common.

For $1300 dollars it should come with the Raccoon City P.D. clothes and a kevlar vest

Agreed. This is becoming hilarious.

While it's by no means cheap, there will still be people to buy it. Regardless of that, it will stir up talk about the game, and grab people's attention who may not have cared at all about it or not have known about it (i.e. non-gamers).

I'm sure there will be a more reasonable special edition available for preorder.

I'm kind of liking Capcom right now, making this crazy special edition, announcing Lost Planet 3 (which I'm actually looking forward to), and Dragon's Dogma next month. I'd rather have all this to talk about and look forward to over having to hear about a new Call of Duty every few months.
