Resident Evil 6, who do you want in it?

I think Leon and Chris should be in 6. The 2 best characters come together, but there should be claire and jill involved too. Also who is Leon with? Like in every game and moviehe's in the girl likes him. In 2 Ada definetly liked him and claire seemed a bit jealous in darkside chronicles, in Operation Javier in Darkside chronicles that Manuela likes him, in degeneration that girl liked her,in 4 Ashley liked him. I think he likes ada, but I think he should ditch her and go for somebody else, maybe claire because Claire and Leon seem like a pair like Jill in chris and they kept in contact since 2. Also do you think sheva, steve or ashley will make a return and will Ada bbe a large part of 6?

i think leon has the best presence of anyone in the series, but thats probably because he stars in the best installment. anyway it goes- no co-op.

I hope it features Claire and a new male character. I also hope it features gameplay that builds upon REmake (shoot me), and an atmosphere similar to Resident Evil 2.

Hell even RE4 retained some sort of value of survival horror and original RE feel. RE5 had almost nothing survival or horror about it.

Hmmm, Resident Evil series are fun but I don't take anything seriously with it. The odd thing I didn't like about number 5 was how you can get picked up by a baddie, crushed to death in a vice and all that happens is you fall on the floor, hold onto your side and go "I need a bit of help". I don't like this recovery gameplay mechanic which every game in the entire world is bringing out now, bring back the old days where you actually die if you do things wrong and got to retry. Make things seem a bit more, I don't know, real? More tense? Something I don't know, i've just had enough of this "Press X to recover Chris" it reminds me of that game Jerico where you spend your time doing a relay to each other, picking one another from the floor.

I'd like to see a event with H.U.N.K. as the protaganist.

If they plan on making it an action shooter then atleast do it with style Capcom.

I would just want Jill, Leon, Chris and Claire. Don't really care about Sheva. Other things I want in RE 6 while we're on the subject-

• The atmosphere the original games had but really cranked up- no AI partners watching your back and no broad daylight. Something as tense as Demon's Souls- the fear of isolation against freakish creatures with no-one to help you. No GI Joes who can beat up house-sized boulders with their bare hands...
• The return of real zombies.
• More open ended like the earlier games- retuning to earlier sections to solve puzzles, etc. RE 5 was entirely linear.
• A revamped control system that allows you to shoot AND move. Apparently an alien concept for Capcom, perhaps they'll get it one day.
• Another Nemesis (awesome enemy).
• Make it lengthy- I don't care about co-op, just make the game nice and long. A variety of settings too- no reason the ex-S.T.A.R.S can't go across the globe for part 6 if it fits into the story.
• Bascially to be more of a survival horror than 5 but with some action-heavy set pieces thrown in. Overall- the combination of atmosphere and structure of the original games with updated controls, graphics, set pieces, etc could make the best Resident Evil yet.

I'd be shocked if RE6 would resemble anything like the first two games in the series. If anything I'd expect a whole lot of Dead Space Influence which may have horror but is essentially a third person action game like RE4 and 5. I'm pretty confident Capcom will find a new way of controlling the pl;ayer because the 4 and 5 way is obsolete today and the management system in 5 was a personal struggle for me the whole time. Actually I'm mostly interested on they will fix that if there will be co op once again.

I dont care as long as they return it to survival horror, not a shooter with a partner.

So yeah make RE6 more like RE4 in every way. RE5 was just awful. It wasn't just disappointing based on the high standards set by RE4. It was just bad. The co op is what ruined the game really. Focusing on the co op made the single player suck. I'm sure if you like playing games co op you would have got alot of enjoyment out of RE5, but I'm a single player only guy and RE5 just doesn't satisfy me in the slightest. The next game needs to be purely single player. At the most they can make the extra mercenaries mode co op if they really feel it's necessary to have some sort of online component.

Now I love RE4 and RE5


BUT...

I think it's time to get back to basics zombies, more creepy locations, darker locations and a return to racoon city in ruins

Oh and keep it single player, there can be a separate coop mode. SAGE_OF_FIRE

I want it to be a single-player survival horror game with limited ammo and actual scares. I don't want another lame third person action game with co-op tacked on. Basically, I want a new survival horror game that takes place in a real world setting, somebody make one.Dreamerdude26

I want them to reboot the series like they were talking about after RE5 was released and make new characters.

I just want it to be scary!! I was very disappointed with part 5, so much that I did't even care to finish it. I did make it to the last boss though, I died once and never played again. It sucked compared to part 4.

Well, I'm in the minority here, but I really liked RE5, and LOVED that it was co-op.

If the puzzles in the previous REs were smarter than just finding a crest and where it belongs, then I'd be more for making RE 6 more like the older games. As it is, the more action oriented suited the gameplay fine, imo. And, also imo, any game can be enjoyed better with a friend. It all depends on how the developers create the game to take advantage of that. I think that Sheva should not have been with you all along when playing solo, only in co-op.

I'm not really sure where RE6 should go. It should definitely be scarier. But I don't think fear should only be limted to dark places. I was happy with all the daylight in RE5. But they have to find ways of adding fear. Maybe have enemies that only show up during the day, that way there's no feeling of safety when you're out in the day. And though I like zombies and what-not, I need more variety than that and human-looking things with tentacles. How about some really deformed humans, with 3legs, and spiders for heads (i dunno, something crazy and disturbing).

As far as story, I wouldn't mind going back in time. I read about Wesker being part of"Project W".That sounded interesting and would allow for a lot of"Wesker-gone-wrong" type of enemies, the bringing back of Umbrella, and creepier settings.

No co-op please. Or cover system, enemies with guns and tentacle monsters for that matter.

It would be great if they implemented a more advanced health system, like, if you get wounded in the leg, you`d start to limp, an arm wound would mess with your aim etc.
