Resident Evil 7:Who should return?

A new character would be sweet.

Chris and Jill are my favorite characters in the series. I'd like for them to team up one last time before the series is completely dead. Do it in an RE5 Lost in Nightmares type game with a well told story at least on par with RE5's (the last good RE game) calibur.

Oh, and don't expect anything RE related at E3 regardless of what rumors say.

Leon is my favorite character, but I voted for Rebecca. I don't get it, why reboot? They are still giants, RS5 sold good , 6 sucked both as Resident Evil and as game but that is it. Just go back to what is good and watch the money and quality coming.

At this point I've no interest in this series. I only play Revelation series, which is better than the main series now. Even if they reboot the franchise, their target audience will still be dude bros. The franchise is on death bed.

I would prefer they don't make another Resident Evil, starting to wear out it's welcome, I've enjoyed all the games in the series, but after the disaster ending of Revelations 2 (which was a shame because I had really liked it up until episode 4) I can't get hyped for any more RE

i voted for claire (she's my fave) and rebecca because we don't know what happened to her after 1, yet chris, jill, wesker and barry have returned

As much as I would love to see Claire return in RE7 (she's always been my favorite character) I don't think she really needs to be back in the next game since she was just in Revelations 2.

That being said, I would really like to see a classic character like Rebecca Chambers as the main lead in RE7 since she hasn't been seen in ages and she really deserves to be in a new game, even though she really doesn't have have anything to do with the main story post-Raccoon City...

I just hope they don't reuse Chris again since he was just in three consecutive games (RE5, RE6, and Rev1) so I'm pretty sick of seeing him pop up in every damn RE game nowadays...
