OK so I know i might be crazy but which do you prefer for me its definitely resident evil the main reason is that i can still remember the licker from resi 2 that crashes through the police window but you are always on edge as you play it through bout when the strike happens i know with resident evil 5 the computer does mess up but yet its a brilliant franchise. And yet with the Silent hill games the horror is definitely there as is the case with homecoming where the whole game changes as with scenery yes you have a flash light and a radio that you can switch off and it does help when enemies are near but the best thing about silent hill is that fact their isn't ammo spread everywhere so you have to decide from running away or using objects like knives etc . What do you guys think?

I prefer Silent Hill. The combination of horror and the psychiological depression and guilt of the characters makes it more appealling to me. In SH atonement for past sins plays the major role in the series, while Resident Evil is primarily horror...not to mentione RE5 was a total letdown and i bough the darn game.

p.s. Oh, one other thing: The soundtrack of Silent Hill games is hundred times better than RE series..It is by far my most favorite game soundtrack to listen to.
