Rock Band 2 vs. Guitar Hero WT (HARDWARE!!!)

Before the fanboys flame-on, I am asking specifically about guitar and drum peripherals... and I realize this is probably a stale topic, but my searches for relevant results yielded zilch.

I like both setlists and I plan on buying both Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band 2 at some point, but I don't know which to buy as the bundle w/ instruments.

I was on the verge of buying GHWT on two occasions, but then I heard about the problems with drum sensitivity and guitar strum-bar stickiness.

Now, I'm leaning towards RB2, but I'm wondering if the GHWT problems are so widespread? Any user reviews on these issues?

The Guitar Hero drums are junk, compared to the Rock Band drums.

Personally, I think Rock Band is the better game, and it definitely has the better hardware. If you're going to insist on supporting Guitar Hero, at least do yourself a favor and don't buy the GH drum kit.
