Rock Band VS Rock band 2. are the new instruments worth it?

so i have an opprotunity to pick up the original Rock band for $70 or wait a month and get Rock Band 2 at full price. what should i do? is it worth the extra time and money for the improved instuments, or should i buy the RB1 set, and sell the game for the sequal

Buying the guitar is definetly worth it, but that's it. Unless you're a major drum player, then maybe the RB2 drums are worth picking up. But buying a new mic is not worth it; it's just a plain mic either way.

Just remember that the RB1 and RB2 instruments work with both RB1 and RB2.
