Never did get why there are so many topics about this, if you played both games you'd realize samus would be the winner since one missle kills mc and she can hold up to 200, without their suits, thats a diffrent story.
Master Chief is a gentleman and a honorable soldier, so he would never hit a lady. And Samus is hot and Master Chief is a man...so Samus has double the advantage. ;)
And also, Samus does have better weapons that can disintegrate Master Chief in two seconds. :P
Though decission I guess. They are both elite warriors. Being a nintendo fanboy, I would normally be inclined to say Samus, but if you really consider it, both would have their advantages.
I say Samus would be the winner not because I'm a Nintendo fanboy (In fact I'm not a fanboy of anything, just a general gamer) but because she has better equipment than Master Cheif. Samus can roll into a ball, deploy bombs, use an ice beam, use missiles without reloading and has unlimited ammo in her energy cannon. The best thing I know that Master Chief has to counter all this is that bubble shield, so I think Samus would win because she has more variety of attacks.
Before anyone accuses of me for being a fan boy because of this decision, I am not. I love both the Metroid Prime series and Halo series. But really, I think the infinite ammo/more health is good enough to bring down Master Chief.
Didn't someone make a video about just this question? It was called Haloid or somethign. *spoiler* Turns out master chief is really a woman. Go figure!
