Being relatively new at Rainbow Six I am amazed when I play online with of the marksmanship of some of the players. My accuracy even when standing still is nothing like some of people. Experience will make a difference but I am looking for tips from experienced players on type of gun, scope, firing rate and how to ami well to improve my marksmanship from a distance.

As far as staying alive I see that good foot work to avoid getting hit is good. It seems like most of the good players have very little armor. Is it better to avoid armor for mobility? I've been using the Raven armor with a tactical helmet.

a lot of people will change how sensitive the controls are in the options to make aiming easier for them. After that just get used to the controls, pick weapons and armor that suit your style of play and always use the cover system

if you gotta get used to the controls that means somethings wrong with the controls. Ive never heard of anyone complain about control sensitivity on CoD or the Halo franchise. Aside from that though im wondering if its even possible to be a good sniper on those games. Simply because all areas of the vegas maps have mutiple and i mean MULTIPLE entrances. I rarely try to snipe on that game. Most i can say is a medium armor setting so you have enough to take a shot. Know your in trouble and have enough mobility to get the hell out of there.
