Seriously, when are they going to stop with the episodes and make Half-life 3?

They're supposed to come out with Half-life 2 episode 3 next year. I have an idea; Just come out with half-life 3 already.

Isn't the Half Life 2 Episodes essentially Half Life 3? I heard that many times from people. When you think about it, it makes sense. Half Life 2 is about 15 hours long and the HL2 Episodes are 5 hours long each. ASK_Story

Be thankful that Valve won't handle this situation like Capcom did with Street Fighter III. People waited 6 years for SFIII. But, man, during that wait, there were a boatload of spin-offs.

No, Valve has said on many occasions that the HL2 episodes were intended to be HL3. I think it was Doug Lombardi who said that he regretted not naming the episodes "Half-Life 3: Episode __" since they are meant to make up the third HL game when put together.
