Shadow of Mordor has a funny side

In this new trailer it seems that this game isn't as bleak and gritty as it first seemed to be

Thank the heavens. I was worried about this game being too gritty for it's own good.

i rather want this to have some soul rather than just being some brown bloody game

to me, shadow of mordor is basically a rip-off of assassin's creed.

The game looks extremely solid. If it's a decent length it could be a great experience.

I just hope this character won't turn out to be another Jar Jar Bink.

I think it's a nice touch. Something to break the dark atmosphere.

Every Batman has Robin, this one is a bit more ugly and stupid, but u have him :P

That's what I was hoping. Some of the gameplay vids with the Orc heirarchy make it seem like it wouldn't take that long to get to the top. That could just be one area or maybe they sped up the progression but idk.

oh that's later in the game, and there is more after aswell

mixing dark and humor is an breath of fresh air with all the games lately. i would have liked to see more humor in games like dishonored

Being dark just to be dark, is so stupid. It's good to have a little variation

I agree. I'm excited for this game.

This is the only game I've been looking forward to all year. It's interesting though that they would introduce Ratbag as a sort of Brain dead sidekick when the first gameplay footage was of Ratbag getting mashed into goo by an orc warchief.
