it just doesn't seem like a feature that fits into the game. diablo is about the surprise of finding good loot. buying it with real money takes the fun out of that.
On an off topic yet related statement. Has anyone actually played the game? Does it look as bad in person as the vids and commericals show? Cause it looks like a more colorful version of Diablo 2...

Yeah - I've played some. It's a lot like the PC versions. I know people say it doesn't look as good as the PC version, and it doesn't, but I think they took advantage of having specific hardware to get a good looking version. It looks very clean, it looks brighter. I think it looks great. One negative note: loading times. I don't remember them in the PC version and they are long on the console versions.

diablo 2 is an actually fun game. D3 is not I didn't realize I left it out but I meant to say, "Does it look as bad graphically." The game looks terrible to me in terms of visuals. I enjoyed Diablo 2 a lot as well.
I have the 360 version and fully installed the game on the HDD and loading times are not really an issue at all. The graphics look very good and the gameplay is excellent. A very worthy sequel to Diablo 2.
