I already own a 360, and im thinking about getting a ps3. What worries me is what iv been hearing about how the ps3 sales are really low and the company is losing trucks of money. Im wondering what is the worst case scenario if the ps keeps losing money like this, and what will most likely happen. And please, try and refrain from posts like "The ps3 will die because im a lemming or a sheep". Please give some logical points. This is not a thread about flaming different systems.
Personally, I'm holding back on getting one because right now there are not that many games for it, and there are rumors going around of a PS3 price drop this Holiday season. I plan to buy one eventually but it will be awhile :P
I don't get it, why do sales matter/ Anyways, the reason i'm getting one( probably by the end of the week) is because it has a vast line of oonline options such as an internet browser which at the same time can play graphically heavy games. I was orginally going to get a laptop for about a thousand bucks, but then realised that PS3 does all the things I want a laptop to do for less money, so, bada boom bada bing, here I am. Oh, and because my 2nd 360 broke and I'm tired of it.

Im astonished at the ratio of broken 360's. Its like 1 in every 12 or something. Its ridiculous and has ensured that i get a 360 last ( cuz im getting all ).

You ever stop to think that they only people who get online and complain about their systems failing are the ones it actually happens to? How good of an idea can you get of the 360 problem based off some guys on a forum or two. I'll admit, its a problem, but 1 in 12? I don't think I was lucky enough to get that 1 console, I've never been that lucky with anything.
