Hi. I recently bought Street Fighter 2 HD Remix about 3 days ago, and I bought Bad Company yesterday. I love fighting games, be it for when I'm playing with laid-back friends, or when I'm going all hardcore on n00bs.

I've been hearing a LOT of praise for BB. Should I buy it for the XBox 360?

If you like 2D fighting games, buy BlazBlue.

From playing online ranked match so far, most players aren't really that high level in terms of skills, so you should be able to fit it without too much trouble.

I played SC4, Tekken DR, SF4, and I have to say BB has best netcode by far, so online gameplay is really good.

Thank you for the quick reply. Since you have all those games, how does BlazBlue? How does it compare to SF4, specifically?

Again, thanks for the help.

Yeah, I loved Street Fighter IV and spent over 30 hours going through Arcade mode with all characters in various difficulties, unlocking different characters, titles, colors, etc., and playing online. Will BlazBlue give me around the same amount or more content?

Well both might be 2D Fighter, but nature of it is quite different.

Street Fighter IV is more of grounded fighter while BlazBlue is high flying fighting game.

I do like online ideas for Street Fighter IV. The way you can play arcade mode while waiting for another player to join, kind of like you are in arcade or something.

However, the connection is incredibly poor compared to BlazBlue. It's not really a knock on SFIV, but more about how good BB netcode is. SFIV doesn't have lobby system so all latency is concentrate on 2 players playing against each other, so SFIV connection is better than Tekken 5 and SCIV. It is pretty good but simply compared to BB, it's just not good enough.

BlazBlue even supports lobby system where you can get up to 6 players in a room and take turns playing each other while others watch.

In terms of controls, BlazBlue controls are much more smooth, and it's tight. SFIV controls felt stiff and loose. BlazBlue requires players to have more precise input and timing compared to SFIV where things can get very loose except for combo links.

Also gameplay focus is quite different because BlazBlue has that trap element to it and attacks comes indirectly for the most part, while SFIV is pretty direct. If someone who has no idea about either of these games watches you play, the person will understand what's going on in SFIV, but might be clueless what's going on in BlazBlue.

Personally I do think BlazBlue is better game than SFIV.

Kidding..but I don't think there's that much unlockable content. I'm not sure, but from what I've heard, you don't unlock characters, trophies, art, etc.

BlazBlue don't have much unlockables other than art gallery and sound gallery.

But it does have robust arcade mode and story mode which can take a while to complete.

Also score attack mode is there for single player challenge.

Even without online, BlazBlue offers plenty.
