should i reget ffx-2?

ok so im getting a whole load of games in preperation for next yr and im gonna beat ff series from 1-13 i havent beaten 8 or 9 or 12 only or x-2. seriously i bought x-2 to see if it was as bad as they said and even not comparing it to x-2 it was ehh

after viewing the endings on youtube i thought hmmm maybe ill reget it and put up with it for the story. is the story good enough to warrant another buy

anyway thanks to the game i have real emotion on my my ipod :)

You should probably give ffx-2 a playthrough because when you tell your friends or somebody how totally fricking cool you are that one year you beat all the final fantasies and then the other person says "even ffx-2" and your like "no" it will totally ruin the moment.

But seriously I liked the game, I think you should go for it ;)

I really liked the gameplay in ffx-2. It was super fast-paced.I also liked the customizable class system in it too.

btw the story is pretty sub par for a ff game imo

As stan alone games I don't like neither X nor X-2 much because I feel that both have flawed story presentations. However, when put together the story becomes quite well presented and actually very enjoyable.

I'd give FFX - 8.5/10

FF X-2 7.5/10

But I'd give both 9.0/10 as one big story, playing X-2 and putting a closure on the FFX story as well as seeing the whole Lenne and whatshisface backstory was awesome and X-2 had some really beautiful and emotional moments.

Keep in mind I don't care about gameplay one bit in JRPGs most of the time as long as the games aren't hard or frustrating.

what friends? seriously why do you think i have all the time to beat all the games....... yes im aware i just admitted i had no friends.

I picked up X-2 because I was curious as to how the story would continue from X, which while not the strongest FF story, I did enjoy the game quite a bit. I played a couple of hours, but quickly gave up. I just wasn't feeling the "pop princess" / charlie's angels feel to things. So I stopped playing for about 6 months. Then I decided to pick it up again, and this time played it all the way through. Once I got through the initial 1/4 or so of the game (its been a long time so I don't really remember how long it took), I started to get into it. As the story got more serious and less "pop-ish", I enjoyed seeing the sequel elements.

Overall the finished piece feels a bit rushed and often recycled from X, but I definitely feel it's worth the full playthrough. Just keep pushing yourself to get through the beginning sections, and I think you'll feel rewarded.

you should get ffx-2. I liked it.

But you really don't have to force yourself to play FF 1-12. None of the games follow a storyline from one game to another... the only FF's that share a storyline from what I've played are FFX and FFX-2. So don't waste time playing through FF's you don't care about.

I wouldn't say its a terrible game, just not up there with FFX,FFVI or FFIV imo..

The game tries to take an origanal stab at character leveling, and failed, the story was tipical, but the game itself I found was entertianing for the most part, never played it through, I imagine youll like it.

uhhhh, forget FFX-2, you should play FFXII, its sooo much better, gameplay, graphics and storywise, its a lot betterkillerband55
