Should R* Stop flooding GTA Games with Pedophile Jokes? (READ DESCRIPTION FIRST)

This is not a topic about freedom of speech! I believe they should have the right to speak/write freely without censorship. This is about how you feel about this type of joke.

No. I don't think they should stop with any type of jokes. In comedy, nothing is sacred.

You think pedophilia is an "alternative lifestyle."? The're a bunch of sick criminal scum, who get off on hurting little kids. "Alternative lifestyle's," refer to homosexuality and it's an insult to put the two together like that.

I don't understand why they should. The jokes make FUN of pedophiles, a lowest form of human filth if ever there was one, and fully deserving of the scorn. Its not like Rockstar are trying to say that its an acceptable life style, no they are insulting and defaming a group of people who frankly deserve the derision.

Now if Rockstar were trying to say that pedophelia was great and that pedophiles should be forgiven, then yeah - I could see wanting them to stop.

The GTA games are a lampoon of American society from all walks of life - and I'm sorry, but until there stops being a new news story every other month about this guy who liked little boys or this teacher who just had to sleep with her students, pedophelia is just going to be one of those "American Life" moments that Grand Theft Auto will continue to make fun of. Sure it does happen in other countries besides the good ole US of A, but nearly with the frequency that its reported upon here.

I can agree with that.

I dont really remember there being tons of pedo jokes on the radio stations.

I think there was that political ad where the guy said his opponent had a house in the Philippines that he shared with young boys, and thats about all I can remember.

Anyway, its comedy. Nothing is sacred and all that.

Haven't played a GTA game in awhile but I don't remember any pedophile jokes. And even if there were so what? They're jokes. The pedophiles themselves are most likely the butt of the jokes.

It's GTA... and all of the content is not to be taken seriously. I don't recall any pedo jokes anyways, just raunchy sex innuendo, like the billboard in San Andreas.

There is a lot of hypocrisy in American society, and they do a pretty good job of pointing it out, and it's pretty funny imho.

but jokes make me laugh none the less

i enjoy black humor the most.

You should look at the rating labels next time.

Sometimes those M-rated games do contain mature content!
