Sid Meier's Pirates, Black and Ninja Gaiden Black coming to Xbox Originals.

Found this via Evil Avatar. Three more titles coming to the Xbox Originals Service on Feb 11th (The source sez Jan 11th, which I firmly believe is a typo, unless I suddenly traveled to the future...*checks for chrome clothing* no, I'm still here).

Black.

Ninja Gaiden Black.

Sid Meier's Pirates.

Each one coming to the tune of 1200 MS points.

Question: does Ninja Gaiden Black have an option to make it easier than the original? Someone said there are more difficulty options and someone else said it's harder. Cheers.Razoroo

I has an easier difficulty option than the original called Ninja Dog. You unlock it by sucking at the game though.

And yes otherwise the game's harder than the original.

All three of these are excellent games, but as with most of the Xbox games in their download service, you can most likely find a hard copy of these for around the same amount of money (or less) that will play on the system just as well without eating up multiple gigs of HDD space.

That said, Black was an absolute blast when it first came out, but I don't see it really holding up against the 360 FPSs you can buy like H3 or CoD4. Pirates on the other hand I have bought three times it was so good (PC, Xbox, and PSP), and I still play the PSP version.

I already have Ninja Gaiden Black but's it's such an awesome game that I don't see too many copies of if any around so it's definately a download I would highly recommend especially for the price to download the game.

Black was a total blast to play. I probably wouldn't mind playing it again but I could probably find a copy of the game somewhat easily.

Sid Meier's Pirates is a game I never got around to playing but it looks and sounds pretty cool and I don't think I've seen too many copies of that game around so that would be one I'd consider getting.

I think being able to get these original Xbox games via download is a really cool idea for games that are hard to find and the price is pretty good for most of them. There are already a few I want to get in the very near future. I'm definately going to have to get the 120 GB HDD real soon.

I thought Pirates was great. If you haven't played it before, I'd definitely recommend it. $15 is a steal IMO.

I'm getting Pirates possibly, and most definitely Conkur (though they should release an uncensored version) if the rumors are true...I wish they would release Riddick and Oddworld Stanger's Wrath, however, because those are two games left that I own but am unable to play. They probably won't release Riddick because their is a remake coming out later this year, I hate them :xHiResDes

I'm still waiting for a handfull of games to hit that list but I'm starting to lose hope. Both the ones you mentioend, plus the 2 Matrix games and Total Overdose for starters.

This thread has succeeded in making me want to play Black again though, that game had such a great visceral feel to the shooting... If CoD4 wasn't better in every way it would still be a truly must-buy game in my opinion.
