Snack Time!

So in an effort to get to know my fellow gamespotterz (yes i put a z there, deal with it) I want to find out something more about all of you. So they say the fastest way to a mans heart is through his stomach and all that.

I was wondering what snacks & drinks do you tend to have when you have a long game sesh and what is your guilty pleasure.

Also you might want to add where your from, mostly because these foods might be a regional thing and be odd in more then just choice to some people (especially if you like plop).

Just to be fair I tend to have a fetish for a nice thick slice Cheddar sandwich and cup of chocolate milk or hot chocolate. Mostly because i like the contrast of the pale of the cheese and the brown of the chocolate but also because sometimes it leaves a brown mark on the bread as i eat the sandwich.

Also if im feeling really classy I like to have a wine glass of coke while I play online. Just me. Oh and I like a nice pack of nic-nacks (rib and saucy or scampi and lemon)

I mainly drink a glass of water and i eat potatoe chips.

The usual gamer diet consists of:

Pickels

Bacon

Grilled cheese

Don't really eat either. Because then I get distracted, and sticky analog sticks and keys are annoying. I just keep a water bottle handy or some sort of drink.

I don't usually like to eat while gaming because it is often distracting, and also leads to messy controllers.

Now and again though I will want to game and eat at the same time in which case I often try and choose something non-messy like candy, nuts, or crackers.

That being said, I nearly ALWAYS have a drink while I game. Most commonly it's coffee (Iced or Hot depending on season), Water (Giant cup so I don't run out), or tea.

I've been known to swollow sandwitches whole between matches in MW2.

I posted earlier on this subject, but it was deleted by a Mod. It was perfectly legit, depending on what state you live in. So I'll say it again, because its LEGAL in California.

When I play games I prefer to take my MEDICINE, which I have a PRESCRIPTION for. I have had extreme anxiety attacks (All muscle functions lock up, lack of breathing, and zero speech ability)for years. Pills cause my stomach to bleed and have never worked for me. Two things calm me, videogames and my medication. When I do both together I am at total peace with myself. This is why I will always be a GAMER.

Sometimes nothing, but I'll eat whatever snack food we have on hand. To drink, I'll sometimes have a can of pepsi.

I don't eat anything messy since I don't want a greasy controller. Usually candies, like sour patch kids, or swedish berries. Maybe some licorice (the red stuff, can't stand black licorice.) Or plenty other candies. I'll sometimes get a big bag or bowl of them and just go all night.

But usually, I don't have a snack available while gaming. Seriously, if I snacked like that every time I gamed there'd be a serious health issue. I game way too much for that.

Oh, and I live on the east coast of Canada... eh!

I'm a sucker for the simple stuff.

If we're talking 'during gaming snack sessions' and I can somehow con my girlfriend into cooking for me, I'll either have Vegimite and Tasty Cheese toasted sandwiches or some good ol' fashion sausages on bread with heaps of tomato sauce and mustard. Now that's just when I'm being a slob; not a regular thing.

During a regular, run-of-the-mill gaming session, the thing you'll find most commonly next to me is a 1.25 Litre bottle of sparkling mineral water. ;)

I can't eat while gaming because I like a clean controller. I just drink water and if I need to eat I take a break.Dracula68

this is the best answer and the same for me. Why eat something when you can get crumbs all over everything and greasy marks over your keys and mouse or controller. just take a damn break and eat something. Last thing we need are more obese people

Tea, peanut butter on toast with greek yoghurt, rum & raisin ice cream, and chicken breast with salad... Not all one meal of course.

A diet Mountain Dew and lately we've been getting that Chex party mix stuff. It's okay.

I used to just have a soda and chips, lol... I don't eat either one much anymore, so I might just eat an apple or drink some water...

A glass of water that I keep refilling is pretty much always there.

If I'm eating something I try and make it so I don't have to touch it. Cereal and things that I can poke with a fork and eat without making crumbs!

No snacks for me. Overly sweetened instant coffee is all I need to keep the engine purring.

I have a bad addiction to energy drinks such as AMP, Rockstar and Monster, so I usually have one of those whilst gaming. I love to have a big bag of beef jerky or some guilty pleasure junk food like pizza. If I could eat steak and eggs every time I gamed that would be awesome as well.

I'm hanging out up in Alaska, near the interior. Negative 40 degrees ftw.

Its been very positive to see just how healthy and clean a lot of you like to be. Really does fly in the face of much of the myths that surround us as a community.

Id like to add, i just help exasabate that myth and am adding white russians to my list of food/beverages.

I don't have a particular favorite gaming snack or drink. I'll generally eat or drink whatever (as long as it's nonalcoholic, as I don't drink). Sometimes I'll eat my breakfast, lunch, or dinner while gaming.

I have a hard time eating while playing games, as I almost always shave to use two hands.
