But since it WAS released on the last gen systems then it should reason that the DLC would as well. Right? At the very least the developer would lose out on millions of potential DLC being bought from the millions of last gen users who purchased the game. Dying or not, that revenue is still potentially there for the developer with liitle effort involved in getting that DLC released on last gen systems. Most likely, like all other cross-gen games and DLC, there is a few month window between the releases as most likely they are trying to get last-gen users to upgrade. Then they release the games on the last-gen systems.

It's not DLC. It's a stand alone game.

I get that, but is still related to the New Order and uses the same engine. Those who bought the N.O. on last gen would most likely buy this (as would many that didn't buy the N.O.) They essentially have a built-in consumer base and have to do very little development-wise or marketing-wise. If you can't see that then thank god you are not the head of Bethesda.

@evilcalvin:

@toast-burner:

That's what I don't understand....they've already got a fan base from Wolfenstein return to castle Wolfenstein and the new order, WHY in the world would you exclude half that fan base for the new release?!

I called my local gamestop store and they said they have no info on a physical game or dlc being released for ps3 and I don't see anything online...so if they do end up releasing it it'll be a surprise to us all...

I found an email for Bethesda but I'm not sure if there's anyone else I can write a complaint to...I don't like ps4 and the way it operates, I have 3 ps3s and I don't like the idea of these companies trying to force me into buying a new system...Just not right...

Maybe they didn't want to dumb it down for last gen hardware. I honestly wish more developers would stop developing stuff for last gen because then it limits the game for current gen.

@JayQproductions: I agree with you, so many games are limited because of the cross gen development I think it should be done away with now. Those consoles are old and have had a long enough life span already.
