Is it just me or are there so few decent xbox 360 games. I strugle to find anything worth the cost to buy, or to get excited about.

What ? it's bout 30% of the games out there are worth the 100$ cost ?

Played and finished;

Burnout
Gears of war
Ghost recon 1 & 2
Call of Duty 2 & 3
Rainbox 6

It would depend who you ask. I have been able to find a few 360 games to enjoy but my tastes are probably very different to yours so I don't think it would help if I listed them. Nothing I have played is so amazing I would feel compelled to recommend it to you despite any difference in gaming tastes.

You're either trolling or bought a completely wrong console for your personal taste. There are at least 20 games out that are worth their money. If you think they're too expensive rent or get them second hand.

If you can't find anything worth the money on the 360 then I can't see how you could find anything on the PS3 just because the 360's been out much longer so there's more games and especailly more budget games. Maybe you need to look into a Wii, but then again I've had one for two months and I can't see myself buying any games for the Wii that are out or are coming out remotely soon, and all I have is Zelda and a bunch of VC titles.

There are enough AAA $20 titles on the PS2 so you might see if there are some you haven't played until the current gen stuff comes down in price.

$100? 360 games cost $60. Anyway if you are looking for good games try this

Now Playing:

Shadowrun

Dead Rising

Lost Planet

FEAR

Condemned

Oblivion

Gears of War

Crackdown

Viva Pinata

GRAW 2

Coming Soon:

Overlord

The Darkness

Two Worlds

BioShock

Assassins Creed

Halo 3

Splinter Cell 5

GTAIV

Half Life Orange Box

Kane & Lynch

Too Human

If that is too few good games then you have ridiculously high standards.

It's you... it seems you bought a system that doesn't suit your tastes. dont know what to tell you.

I have about 20 something 360 games (around 35 if you count XBLA titles) and the only ones i can say that i didn't enjoy was Perfect Dark 0, The Outfit anda few of the XBLA titles

Baby want a lollypop?

Seriously, it's your own fault for investing in the wrong system. Currently the 360 has the most titles than any other next-gen system, so I don't know what to tell you. I hate seafood, but I don't go to Red Lobster and then complain about it afterward.

I'm stunned at that comment ... I for one have never been with out a game on the 360 ... infact I'm having to stop myself buying more because of the choice .... it might help by describing what games you are after tbh

I have 20 games on my 360 not counting Live Arcade titles (around 35 total).

I pretty much have a reason to log onto my 360 every day. Maybe your'e in the wrong hobby.

I really dont get this thread. Judging from the OP's list of games, it would seem that he can't find enough tactical shooters on the 360, which is absurd.

yeah and the only better system for those overall, would be the PC, so uhh *scratches his head* :? Oh this is a joke post, or would made to instigate flames, but suprisingly no flames have been thrown yet.

While you're very opinionated and would fit well in System Wars, I would agree to some extent that for at least my personal choice, the 360 (and PS3 and Wii even) are lacking in a lot of good games in the past 7 months. Seriously, Resistance, Gears, Zelda, Wario Ware were the only good games for the past few months really, and now we have Forza 2 and Super Paper Mario.

In general, I'm just disappointed in the general lack of quality games this calendar year, apparently we will have to wait until summer for stuff to come out, like...

Mass Effect, Halo 3, Metroid Prime 3, Grand Theft Auto 4, Unreal Tournament 3, Lost Odyssey, Bioshock, Blue Dragon, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Metal Gear Solid 4 (hopefully in 2007), etc.

So in that sense, I agree that very few good 360 games have been released lately, but most systems are also lacking super killer titles in the past half year in my opinion.

With that advanced AI, compared to all othershooters, I'd definitely call F.E.A.R. a tactical fps. A very good one too. I mean, if that's what you're looking for.

Also, if you like adventureous platformers the least, then I highly recommend Kameo.

Though, I totally agree about the 360 lacking good games, or even decent ones for that matter.

all depends on what you call decent. i've had fun with games that are rated in the 7 or higherfor 360... games like Call of Juarez, The Godfather, Saint's Row, Crackdown...

I have a friend who I am surprised likes any games. After playing the demo, he reckons Forza 2 was crap (and he loves racing simulations). Apparently the roadlooks crap and the AI is terrible. Overlord demo he played for about 3 minutes, then said 'over it'. His standard, mainly for AI, is insanely high.
