I picked up an original Xbox console not long ago, and I was wondering what games I should consider playing on it. So far from what I seen, Panzer Dragon: Orta and Yager look like fun games to try. What are other titles that I should look into?

I don't know about Yager (doesn't look that good to me), but i'll give you my personal list of must-own games that i have, and want to have:

• Panzer Dragoon Orta (one of the greatest games ever made)
• Otogi: Myth of Demons (basically the Okami of hack 'n slash - action games)
• Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors (same as above, both are different enough so you'll want both)
• Jet Set Radio Future (farbetter than the original)
• Burnout 3: Takedown (best port, far better than the PS2 one)
• Timesplitters: Future Perfect (again, best port, and best controller)
• Buffy the Vampire Slayer (forget the name, this is one awesome action game)
• Ninja Gaiden Black (best in the series)
• Halo 2 (my favorite campaign in the series, highly recommended)
• Shenmue II (a masterpiece, but be warned, it's a slow paced adventure game about martial arts. Best played wen you wanna relax and be engrossed in a amazing atmosphere)
• Metal Wolf Chaos (crazy ass mecha game, incredibly fun)
• Crimson Skies
• Project Gotham Racing 2
• Fatal Frame II

"Call of C'Thulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth" is awesome, also "Crimson Skies"... And i second the "Super Monkeyball" suggestions, though make sure not to buy "Monkeyball Adventures", as those are TERRIBLE... But the first two games (included on "Deluxe") are a must-own.

Yager is actually supposed to be pretty good, I own it but haven't played it yet.

I also enjoyed it, but people have told me the US version isn't as cheap as the European version so I'm a little wary of recommending it (the difficulty can be quite brutal at times IMO).
