NG3 is a great action game

A great game? yes. A great NG game? no.

I'll give it a rental sometime. I don't let game reviews with low scores stop me from giving the game a chance.

It looks terrible. One of my roommates is a huge NG nut (beat all of them, the two released on the PS3 on the highest difficulty), and he didn't get it because it looks like a streamlined, QTE-cluttered game that just took NG's essence (difficult, but precise combat) and made it into an easy thing. The game looks genuinely bad.

It probably wouldn't get all the hate if it wasn't a Ninja Gaiden game. Just saying.
