So was the Dead Space remake worth it?

Its at $15 on Steam.

Only makes one change from the original that I consider worse, otherwise all the other changes makes it much more enjoyable than the original Dead Space.

Hand Cannon (Infinite Ammo) makes all the difference compared to original and makes the game more epic fun. Played it free through Gamepass subscription.

If you've never played it, sure. If you have, the set pieces are the same and the game hasn't aged all that well. I felt like the replay exposed it in some ways.

I would say for that price, worth it. Still a pretty great game.

Great game. The remake is a proper remake, not some cheap remaster.

I don't dabble in horror much (too chicken haha) but I enjoyed Dead Space.

Need to beat it.........so yeah, it's on my to do list :)

I paid full price for it when it came out and it was worth it. Completed it and I’m waiting for DSR2 to be released.

I paid full price and put as many hours (multiple playthroughs) into it as the original.

I bought it on sale though never beat it. Definitely need to as I loved the original game especially the ending.
