I thought it was coming out 2009? When will we be revolutionised?

I don't see what is sad about us not being ready for less gamer ownership and more corporate control of when and how we play.I think it's a great idea but the support won't be there for it. The whole project is too ambitious, we're not ready for it yet. Like, the consumer mindset isn't in a position to accept onLive as a valid game platform yet... which is really sad

Maybe I'm the only one excited about the prospect of the gaming community being more unified. And to be honest, there's only so much more individual systems can do. They're either going to merge or get pushed out of the market. But I don't know...The point being, It's a lofty, noble goal
The point being, It's a lofty, noble goalhxczunerThe road to hell is paved with good intentions. Less ownership and more corporate control is not good for gamers, in any fashion. Would it unify us? Sure, but only because we would all be in virtual chains. No thanks.

what do you meen by individual consoles? do you meen one console or one brand of consoles? and if you meen one individual is this without internet access? because theres plenty of ways they could advance, like they could generate less heat, have a more efficient design, stream live TV,or things not even thought of yet. As for merging or being pushed out of the market, wouldnt this be a monopoly? if ps3, 360, and wii all merged im not sure if governments would consider PC actual competition and find a way to generate competition
