What game do you choose?

By reexperience, I mean have the same awesome feeling you got playing it the first time when you had no previous knowledge of how the game felt or turned out.

For me it would probably be Okami. While it was still fun on multiple playthroughs, nothing can compare to the first time I played it. Certain parts were pretty damn magical when I first went through them.

Final Fantasy 10 or Gears of War - both cream inducing the first time around.

Maybe Mass Effect 2...

The feeling I got on the Suicide Mission was unlike anything another game had made me feel before...that anxious feeling; wondering if me and my team can make it out alive; will there be any casualties; re-thinking all the choices I've made up to that point; trying to decide which squad member is perfect for certain jobs...everytime there's a cutscene, I held my breath and wait for a squadmate to die...the complete joy I felt when my entire team survived...

My heart was pounding so hard for the last 30 minutes of that game...I want to experience that suicide misson like new, again...

I'd love to re-experience Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. The game was great, hooked me in from the very beginning. The latter playthroughs exploring the possibilities were nothing compared to the first time I played the game, and enjoyed the ending of my own crafting.

Nah you can seriously screw up that last mission if you're not careful. That's only 1 possible ending.

Definitely Final Fantasy 9 or Resident Evil 2. When I was younger they were absolutely gripping and held me for weeks.

Don't hate me for this, but World of Warcraft. The first time I went off the beaten track and realised just how much there was to explore was wonderful. I had so many great experiences with that game before reaching the dreaded endgame and being pulled into the grind...

Probably World of Warcraft. It was my first online gaming experience and I was amazed at how big the world was. There was so much to discover. Now I've seen almost everything and the game isn't as impressive as it used to be. But I still can't wait for Catacylsm.

Kingdom Hearts and Dark Cloud are two more. Those two games were what got me to buy a PS2.

Tales of the Abyss is another one. It wasn't one of the first PS2 games I got, but it's the freaking best.

Games are always the most fun when you first get them.

Pokemon Red/Blue. I can't even begin to describe the feelings I had when playing that as a kid. It was just pure magic. I would give a lot to recapture those feelings. I was in love with Pokemon Red.

If I could revirginize any game, it'd have to be Super Metroid. I was 16 when it was released, little did I know that games of such caliber are not released every day. Hell, much less a decade. Now that I'm old enough to truly appreciate it for what it is, I'm unfortunately familiar with every pixel.

Notable mentions would be Prince of Persia: TsoT, Full Spectrum Warrior.

Fallout 3 for the PS3. I remember the first time I picked it up. I got lost a lot, and found really cool stuff while exploring. Some of the quests weren't all that great, but the main story ones were awesome. Because I had been renting F3, when the GOTY edition came out for the PS3, I bought it, and got to screw around more with more awesome weapons. Now I know the game pretty much top to bottom. It's no fun when you know where everything is.

Morrowind, hands down. Especially if I would be allowed to play it again like it was the first time with a knowledge of how RPG mechanics work. That game was just breathtaking in size and scope. For a long time, I felt like it was a game that couldn't even be finished. I buckled down, eventually finished the main quest and felt a little strange because my perception that the game would last forever didn't turn out to be true at all. An honorable mention goes to Shadow of the Colossus. It's a brilliant game and absolutely jaw-dropping on the first play-through.

Why do people keep saying that this is a spoiler? Bioware let everyone know months before Mass Effect 2 was released that you and your entire team can possibly die during the Suicide Mission!

IT'S NOT A SPOILER!

Tetrisphere - this game probably isn't going to Wii Shop Channel and there's no other ports to it, it's truly a one of kind game HomeWorld 2 - the Homeworld games were made by Relic Entertainment, who used to be a studio of Sierra Entertainment , and then Relic was sold by THQ, the Homeworld IP stayed with Sierra but the creators went to THQ, so we're probably not going to see another, it's my favorite RTS ever

I was surprised Morrowind never made it on the Xbox 360's BC list, one of my favorite games from the original Xbox.

There's a lot to be said for the soundtrack in the Homeworld games! Also, no other game has managed to get 3D RTS unit movement quite as well implemented.

The Legacy of Kain series, I just wish I could wipe any knowledge I have of the game and experience the whole series from beginning to end, mainly because I only played two LoK games and filled any missing plot by reading the synopsis on Wikipedia.

Probably Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It was actually my first foray into modern Metroid (I played some of it before Prime, but after realizing I loved it, I started Prime and then came back to Echoes), and it totally reminded me of Super Metroid. I would have said Super Metroid, but I was 8 at the time of its release, and don't really have much recollection of it being a "fantasmigasmic" as I do for it today. Though, there is a number of good ways to re-experience Super Metroid out there, they can be found on Google and are exceptional fan-made remakes.

Honestly, RollerCoaster Tycoon. Sounds silly, yes, but it blew me away the first time I played it. It was too much fun.
