Sony need to pull something out of the hat at E3

(im not trying to start a flame or system war or anything)

Anybody else think that at their press conference sony are really going to have to WOW everyone?, at the moment it honestly seems like their fighting a losing battle, its a shame really. First the amount they are losing due to cost of machine and then the exclusivity of certain games going.

So unless Sony starts showcasing some extraordinary stuff, i think they will be down and out of this generations console war, anybody elses opinon?

I agree. Sony needs to pick things up. I have had my PS3 since it first came out, and my best game is still Resistance. I'm getting sick of their slacking. PS2 was awesome, why cant PS3 be awesome as well? MasterKingMP

Because those games that were so awesome on PS2 are now branded by the chimpanzees at SCEA as "too Japanese" for North America, and nobody knows what the hell SCEE is doing anymore, or why. Sony is a fractured company, it comes in three flavors, Europe, NA, and Japan, with Japan being the only one who has any remote clue what their fans want. How the other two got the idea that turning PS3 into a westernized shooter box was a good thing, I'll never know,

FF13 is not "taken" it is still coming to PS3. For all we know, it will be better on that system, or it may not. It's rather early to tell, as the Japanese PS3 version has full priority right now.

They need to announce new titles which aren't shooters because most of the upcoming titles are shooters. I also want to see Sony working on a decent horror game and hear more about Fumito Ueda's project for ps3.gamingqueen

Done. I'll give Sony some credit here, Siren Blood Curse looks awesome, and will make a fantastic addition to the flaccid Playstation Store.
