[QUOTE="Black_Knight_00"]That's because of the poor PS Vita sales. PS3 is still going strong and bound to get even better in 2013 with exclusives like The Last of Us, Beyond, God of War Ascension and possibly the announcement of a new Uncharted.iHarlequin
The PS3 is hardly going strong, not on the buisness size. LUCKILY, we gamers are still getting the exclusives they'd planned for the next few years.
Sony is in a bad spot overall, and it surely doesn't help that their console AND handheld are failing terribly - the console because it launched at an absurd price, had its online interfaced knocked out for a month, and didn't put out any decent games until a few years had passed since his release. The Vita because it's trying to do something that handheld gamers don't need.
The PS3 itself is doing fine. This is one of those common myths that the system is still bleeding money, and that isn't the case. The system has been profitable since 2010.
You can argue that their games aren't doing so hot, though. Sony needs to learn how to fvcking advertise. There are several high scoring, great exclusives that my friends have loved but had no idea existed. Uncharted 3 actually had an advertising campaign, and look at that: it sold. It's as if Sony expects everything to be Gran Turismo, which is unfortunate.
Sony really needs to learn from their mistakes, but if the Vita is any indication they haven't. The PS3 suffered for years because of an absurd price and a lack of attractive games. That's basically what's happening with the Vita now. PS4 needs to come out of the gate with plenty of attractive offers for gamers or else Sony won't last too much longer, imo.
