I freaking loved it, the only thing that sucked was you dont get to choose a body shape for your create a character so no custom azaroth/rock 's =(. Complains I hear from whiny little ----- who opinions dont matter are that there is poor game balance. I guess they think certain characters or certain weapons dominate and at the same time I have heard others say all the weapons play alike (which I think is probably more true although there are differences). Another complaint is that the controls are to easy. You can make good combo's just from mashing buttons which is probably frustrating for people who suck and cant play defense. Combo sequences are definately easier and don't require a ton of directional button/stick input, but I dont see that as a bad thing. Again the crybabies don't like losing when the playing field is even.
Its my favorite fighter though. I hate the special guest characters but overall I love it as is. There are some things I would love to see added to the game to make even more kick ass. Full Match instant replays, They only replay the last few seconds of a match of the KO. That really sucks because battles between two skilled players can be awesome and your so consumed in the fight that you dont have time to appreciate the beauty of it all.
Personally I would love fatality stile KO moves. Let me explain. I dont necessarily want blood and guts and decapitations and disembowlments. What I do want is just special unique moves to finish off opponents after you beat them. My favorite thing about SC is that after you KO someone you have 1-3 seconds afterwards to continue beating on them. If we could use that time for special KO moves I would die from joy.
To go along with the full match instant replays I want there to be an OPTION to prevent people from skipping replays. I know when I played against my friend he would sometimes kick my butt and I would be so amped up and bloodthirsty I would be start pounding on the buttons just to make the next match happen faster and skip the replays and kind of ruin his victory moment that he should have been allowed to enjoy and vice versa.
The fights in the conquest mode can be really difficult especially as base defenders get special abilities. Thats not really worth talking about i guess though since its gone in 4?? I dont know anything about the "story mode" of sc4. I saw someone say something about a tower? Oh also unlocking characters cinema scenes in the story mode where you have to make choices can be really difficult because some of them require you not to lose over multiple battles. I haven't won one of those matches and advanced down those paths lol. The fights are tough lol and you only get one shot.
I there is also a glitch is some versions or something that makes data go corrupt in the conquest mode or something? I've never had that problem and I have played through it 4-5 times.
Oh one more thing people didnt like is that some of the characters moves and combo's were changed/nerfed or something. I wasnt really affected by this at all.
Thats everything.... SC to me is the most fluid and fast paced fighter ever. Tekken and Virtua and anything else seems clunky and not as responsive.
