Spiderman for PS2.

Hey guys!

I have a question about Spiderman games for the PS2.

I was wondering which it's the best one out of the bunch.

I've already Played Ultimate Spider-man and beat it...in two days.

I heard that Spider-man friends or foe it's very repetitive and the only good thing it's that you can play as other characters.

Spider-man 3, I heard it's bad...I haven't heard anything good.

I heard Spider-man 2 it's so far the best spiderman game, I checked some videos and it looks pretty cool.Various missions like delivering pizza,etc.

I was thinking which one it's the best, I may get Spider-man 2...but I'm not sure.

They someone said it was hard to web swing, is it?

Which one you recommend?

I played Spiderman 2 and it was very fun, just swinging around the city is fun. There's a lot of different stuff to do.

But I also heard that the graphics for the 3rd one were far superior. Personally I'd go for the 3rd one.

Spiderman 2 has the best web swing mechanics. I think Ultimate had awesome combat and great graphics and you got to play as venom. Ultimate just has no replay value. SPiderman 3 is a glitchy turd with fugly graphics but it has pretty decent combat and I hate saying this but it probably has the most replay value because there are like 3-5 gangs and they have all these turf locations to fight over and the cops and the gangs are all fighting for turf and it all changes. Friend or Foe is complete garbage.

I guess I should stay with Ultimate Spider-man.

As you say, it has no replay value...but it's fun to play as venom and just jump around xD

I'll get Spider-man 2 as soon as I see it, last time I saw it was about $8...and I saw some videos about pizza delivering, it looked fun.

I hope they take their time and don't rush the next spider-man game...

spiderman 3 SUCKS!! i got it cuz i saw some awesome screen shots of playing as green goblin in game informer as part of a preview. i heard it had high expectations, so when i saw it i bought it. the graphics are in between the cartoony graphics of ultimate and the good graphics of 2, making it seem as if they simply didnt render the textures...

as for gameplay, 3 is WAAAAAAAAY too easy and easily beaten in about four hours. each system does have a special unlockable character, but unfortunately, since i bought the ps2 version i only got venom, not green goblin, the reason i got the game. two had the best story missions and such and good swing mechanics, though they are comparable to 3's so that doesnt stand out as a good deciding factor. as for the gang missions being replayable in 3, theyre incredibly repetative, and get boring fast, IMO, i play the game alot becauise i love to swing around and create different challenges for myself.

i personally suggest ultimate because the boss battles are better, and the game is truer to the comics. overall, both ultimate and 2 are good buys,
