SPOILER!!!!!! Let's discuss gears of war 3's ending.

Nope I didn't feel sorry for her at all, or the locusts. They ruined most of the planet and were very cruel to humans.

I wonder what the point was with Ice T's character. They made it look like he would get revenge in the future or something.

I didn't feel sorry for them at all. That's what happens when you start a war. People die.

Thing is, is that humans weren't aware that they were killing a race with immulsion. Myrrah went to Adam, why didn't they bother revealing themselves to a more prominent political figure instead of doing it all secretely? So she asks one scientist, he fails, they start a war. End of.

I was actually jealous of her. ***** took 8 Hammer of Dawn bursts and then dies by a knife shank. That's hardcore.

Gears of War 3 dun' goofed. So many plot holes.. so many unanswered questions.. although I have a strong feeling Gears of War 4 will happen... whether it'll be this gen or next-gen is another question. More than likely next-gen. But what will they work on next? Har har. Gears of War 3 was a major disappointment especially if you're a hardcore Gears of War fan. The game alone should have been at least 2-3 hours longer than it was. You get to run away from a Lambent beserker? WTF. I wanted to kill it... like in Gears of War 1 where I killed the frightening Beserker... what the hell Epic Games... you dropped the ball big time. Shoulda made a 15-hour campaign...Elann2008

Eh, Natural Selection response to the Locust. They were prospering,faced serious threat due to immulsion,met a prominent opposition in form of the human race, fought war, and lost. I guess maybe the Locust could have.. worked together to solve immulsion problems? Nah that would never work. The way I looked at it they killed humans, they killed our brothers (speaking from a point of view of the COGS in the gears universe) every one of em deserved to freakin die.

I do agree about Griffin.. hopefully that little hiccup will be addressed via DLC? I know I'd buy it, I'm having a blast with Gears 3. I was in no way disappointed with Gears 3, thought it was the best of the trilogy and was satisfied with ending.

I agree. Not so much plot holes besides Griffin, but just so much more could have been elaborated on, or drawn out. Where was Prescott? How did the Locust find Azura? Why the hell didn't Adam Fenix say ANYTHING about the impending Locust invasion? Did noone know about the Locust before they invaded?(That's a big ass army to hide underground.) Where did Baird and Cole findtheNavy?Jace?Sam? Where the heck did they come from? I know the game isn't about story and more about stomping skulls and chainsawing torsos, but they could have thrown youa bone or two more.

Like in Gears 2 where you find out Dom has a wife who'd been missing. How did she go missing? How did she get captured? I felt for the guy, but not nearly as much asI should have because I didn't know enough about their relationship or the circumstances leading up to her disappearance/reappearance.

Have you read the novels? (They're awesome, btw) They pretty much explain about the Navy, Sam, Dom's relationship with Maria, and Prescott. Not so much Jace, tho.

I do agree on elaborating on some of the plot, the campaign should have been longer but without sacrificing the pacing

The problem is that the series leaves too much to be explained in the books without explaining it in the game. Most people just play the games and ignore the books.

Seriously wtf, didn't anyone feel bad for the locust, and to top it off, Marcus kills her when she was basically forced to fight to keep her people from dying from the immulsion that the humans cause to surface. Well you are meant to feel bad for them. To give the game a bitter sweet ending which is waht Epic was going for. They wanted to finally humanize the locust. The problem is they were too busy sodomizing them for the first two games and 99% of the third game, so it kinda fell flat.

Plus why should I feel bad for someone who decided to kill every human on the planet because they were pissed off that they were dying? I mean all she had to do was work with Marcus' father to come up with a solution but she decided to kill every human instead. F*** her!

Pretty sure Claudia Black was the voice of Morrigan from Dragon Age: Origins, and she happens to voice the most attractive virtual woman ever. Those accents.. drive me nuts :S In a good way. And no Claudia was not in FFXIII.

seems people didnt read the books. but i enjoyed the ending then again my standards arnt that high. though more people could have died to make it more dramatic 3 people dom.adam.prescott. died and no one cared about them at all.

As far as the ending goes...you're not supposed to care for the Locust or the Queen, for that matter. Would you care for someone that destroyed your friends and family in a war? I know I wouldn't!

Nope, I was expecting to find out the same damn thing. Just from the way she referred to his father and how he spoke of her, they could easily have been his parents. Maybe she will be revealed to be his mother in future games. But yea, you're not alone. I was anticipating it since the end of the second and was honestly surprised when nothing came out of it, and especially when he shanked her.
