Starcade

While playing the Game Room for the 360, I couldn't help but think about the game show from the 80's, anyone remember it? Here is a link to the show's website that I believe the original producers have set up with old episodes.

I can remember watching the show on TBS, with Geoff Edwards as the host, and I guess even Alex Trebek was hosting the show for a few episodes too. I always found it funny when they either had some terrible players going against each other or some older player going against a kid.

No one remembers this show?

I used to love that show on as a kid in Fla. As well as now gotten some episodes in! The show I missed when it was on G4. Because guess my cable system didn't have G4 at the time, then they do now! As G4 has gone downhill but that's another story. As also, I used to have a crush on the host of the show, Geoff Edwards.

Saw a few episodes in them with Mark Richards. He is nice but not as encouraging or as funny as Geoff is. Geoff also got a love of video games from this show btw! And even it shows in giving the players his own hints. Still love the show as I have gotten in contact with some of the contestants and talked on the phone with three of them, and on Facebook with some of them.

And even talked with the creators/producers three times on the phone. Super nice people! They are so nice to answer any kind of question you have. And want to bring back the show in some way or have some kind of reunion show of some sorts!
