love it, reminds me of renting resident evil and a ps1 and playing it for the first time, had it hooked up to my bigass stereo too...good times.

the DREs bring me back but not the logo

The Sega chime is the only start up sound that brings back memories for me.

I loved the Playstation start up screens. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go put up a game for no reason on the PS1.

It's one of my favorite start ups I remember getting the PS1 around 1998 or could have been 1997. I wish I still had my PS1 but binned it as the spinner had snapped off.

Yes! I think it's my favorite start-up of any console, even if it probably takes the longest. It does bring back memories.
