starwars battlefront 3?

anyone know if there have been any talk about making a 3rd battlefront?

It was being made, but then everything got all messed up legally I believe and now it is gone :(

It was being made, and some footage got leaked (Looked great) and then the company got closed down, and now supposedly someone else is working on it.

And as the other guy said.. they lost the rights and the game might take a while to come out.

I would really like to see a battlefront 3 but i dont think its gonna happen.

My advice- Download Battlefield 1943. It's the same kind of game and better than any of the Battlefront games.

I disagree but then again, Star Wars > WWII.

There was a rumor that Lucas Arts yanked it away from Free Radical which was one of the reasons why they tanked. Lucas Arts is kind of a douche when it comes to star wars games....

Yeah, if just having it Star Wars is why you liked it, then you wouldn't care. However, I don't think you can argue that Battlefront was anything more than a worse Battlefield 1942 with a Star Wars skin.

The first game was pretty generic but the second developed it's own flavor. The footage from the third looked incredible andif the right developers gotthe license they could exploit that universeand make an incredible game.

Is it me or are LucasArts becoming more and more stupid. No Battlefront 3, no KOTOR 3, no Clone Apart(machima film), only one game been released for new generation consoles. (SW FU).

It really pisses me off that game series that were really successful despite being promised for further games in the series aren't coming.
