Like the title suggests, my apartment was broken into recently and my 360 was stolen along with the controlers and my Bio Shock. I do have quite a few games for the 360 left, butI have played them all. The only other thingI see myself really wanting this year for a 360 would have been Mass Effect. So, what I wanted to get opinions from some people is should I go purchase another 360 or possibly get a Wii? I liked my 360 alot andI do see myself getting another one down the road no matter what. But for now what do you think, get another 360 now or try something new like Wii?

Hmm, the 360's lineup this fall looks irresistable but if you think you could stomach it, it wouldn't be a bad idea to wait until the new 360's with the 65 nm chips start coming out. If you think there are enough Wii games to justify a purchase, then go ahead.

Thats what I was thinking about. I see myself picking up Ledgend of Zelda and Metroid 3, plus Smash Bro's Brawl to keep me busy.

First off, I'm sorry to hear that. That sucks. :(

But I definately suggest the Wii. Lots of killer games coming out this holiday season.
Yet personally, there's also a bunch of 360 games I'm looking forward to.

Don't feel alone, It's happenedto metwice now, once with surveillance cameras around my house, no justice! the cops in my city suck bad. But yeah, all you can do is get a new one. come on, you want the wii instead? It's a fun system for a week or two, but then the twirling and moving are just annoying. Get a new 360 and some new locks for the doors man.

They broke in twice once last week through the window and this week I'm not sure how they got in. The funny thing was the first time I was home in my den laying on the couch with a migrane, they stalked through my house and i suprised them whenI got up to turn off the AC. They slammed the door shut and jumped out of a second story window. The door was locked and they pushed a recliner in front of it so Icouldnt catch em.

Got new locks and all so we shall see. ButI do feel almost scared to just get any new nice things for the thought of them being stolen again. They had some new people move into the complex within a month ago, and then all this stuff happend, so im pretty suspicious.

I planned on getting a Wii sometimeanyway, there are some games on there i just want to play. But I will replace my 360 no matter. I loved my 360 it was alot of fun and worth getting again, but I might wait until they come out with the upgraded version like EasyB stated. This is the one time i wish Microsoft had some sort of tracking system in their equipment, lol.

Id forget about a new console and buy the biggest, meanest dog you can find.

First off that sucks you had your apartment broken into mate, take it the police were involved? these criminals seriously are stupid or brave breaking into the same place twice. Suggest you buy some window locks, extra door locks and a paintball gun (shoot someone with a PB gun and they'll scream/limp lol). Or as someone said get a good sized dog and that'll make people think twice about breaking and entering.

But as for your main question, i'd wait up on the 360 and try to satisfy your gaming needs with a Wii.

Get a Wii, there are and will be enough good games, and it will be something new to you. Then get a 360 later when they start making them with better hardware.
