[QUOTE="bardos-the-3rd"] that is only half of the truth, with an rgb cable(and a tv that is compatible with this mode) you can playntsc/60hz games in a pal tv without the black white problem.mohmaaytah
I think you are wrong on that one, my cousin had a PAL PS1 which he modded and one time he got a game that was natively NTSC and it only displayed in black and white. By RGB I take it you mean SCART or RCA, well he was using RCA and without that convertor no color would come on. If I am way off the mark then correct me on this.
before I had this cable I was unable to play ps2 games in 60hz(don't ask me why but I was able to play dreamcast and gamecube games without this cable) this kind of cable is special, and no,it's not an RCA cable, but it's a special type of SCART cable
if you live in europe try to find one ,but you need to have a tv that has the RGB mode,in the case of my tv you have to press the scart button one more time, you can also see the games in a higer resolution(though not as high as an HDTV cable) but if you try to se a movie on DVD,the colors on the screen turn green
