Super Mario Bros. or Super Mario Bros. 3?

So which one do you like better?

I like Super Mario Bros. 2 the best. Yeah, I know what I said.

From those two though, 3 is the better one. The original conveys more of a sense of nostolgia though.

I really don't like SMB3. I've spent a lot of time playing it over the years, but I don't like all the suits and whatnot. SMB any day for me. :D

Super Mario World

The original. I like the worlds much better and it just seems somewhat faster paced.

The original still holds up incredibly well today, but I'll still give SMB3 the advantage

i guess the first one deserves more credit; but i can't play it anymore after i played 3. everythings just 100 times better in 3 and the controls in 1 just seem poor by comparison imo

I like SMB3 better, because of the items and stuff. SMB was good as well.

SMB3 by far. It set the standard (along with a few other games such as megaman) for platformers from then on. It had very original worlds, tons of items, tons of enemies, great music, brilliant level design, it was really just a flawless game.

That's a hard decision but I would choose Super Mario Bros. 3.

3 is the best of those 2... I think the 2nd is my favorite though.

I just wish they would have left out the warp whistles.

Yeah out of those two, I am going to have to go with 3 without hesitation.

With that though, it isn't my favorite Mario game. I got SMW, SM2, SM3, SMB

I pick Super Mario Bros. I prefered Super Mario World over Super Mario Bros. 3 and I played a lot of SMB a lot more then SMB3.

Level of difficulty of a game sometimes affects my enjoyment of that game. - I found SMB3 too difficult in some of the levels.

Perhaps it was the basic movement of Mario that was changed in 3 that I just didn't like - the time it took to stop a running Mario, and the extra "floaty" jumping overall.

Overall, I enjoyed and still enjoy playing SMB over SMB 3.

I enjoyed more SMB3 the first time I played it,than the first time I played SMB;so 3 is my fave.
