Core gameplay: Subjective, but I enjoy it a lot. Pretty simple and easy to learn as well. Particularly for a fighting game.

Combat: Well that's really all there is to the game. It's a fighting game. There are a few mini games, but not much.

Keeps you playing: Yeah, thereare lots of unlockables to keep ya coming back. Trophies, music, stages. It even has an achievement system. But each one ya get unlocks you something.

Internet Cmpatable: Yes, but it's lacking in options. If you wanna go up against random opponants, you can only play 2 min time matches. But if you have a friend roster then it's not bad, but it does laga bit.

Worth the cash: I believe it's only $20 now. If so, absolutely! There is a lot of content here, like an adventure mode, classic, event matches, multi man brawl, some mini games like home run contest and target practice, and lots of trophies to collect. And most modes go on multiplayer. So if you have people to play with, even $50 is easily worth it, I'd say. $20 is nothing.

Core gameplay is good.

Combat is pretty good as well.

If you have friends to play group mode with it will keep you playing for years.

It is internet compatable, but this game is often laggy online and there is no customization playing with random people, the only way to get any customization is to play with friends, and friend codes are awful.

Worth the cash if you have friends to play and can get over the online's flaws.

the first thing I thought when I read your post was "oh my god he hasn't played this?!"

to me it's a must play, I played the N64 and Gamecube versions growing up so I am a massive fan of the series, Brawl is no exception to the awesomeness that is SSB, please go out and buy it then enjoy! It will keep you playing for a long time, combat is fantastic and there are a lot of moves to learn if you want to do competitive matches online.

I will ever so rarely grow bored of it with all the items and fun, some characters I hate, but some I use constantly. It's well worth the price.

This would be better suited for the recommendation thread since you're basically asking if the game is worth buying.
