Famitsu scans of the new TOS

I've never played a Tales game (I'm a big rpg, but none of the Tales games have struck my fancy) but they must be profitable judging by the way Namco cranks them out.CarnageHeart
There's was a recent article in IGN how it shows that the Tale's series hit record breaking numbers in Japan. I think it was the newest (2nd) DS Tales game that broke the record.
It is really made for the Japanese market but I'm surprised it even gets localised here.
I hope the game turns out good. TOS 1 was the only Tales of... game I like btw TC can you post a link the pics won't show up on my PC.jasonharris48
Scan 1
Scan 2
It was because of Syphonia that I bought Tales of Legendia on the PS2. Unfortunately Legendia just didn't strike the same chord with me and I never got more than halfway through it.
However I am pretty intrigued on the idea of a Symphonia sequel.
When is this one due out?
Symphonia had one of the worst, most convoluted, and cliched plots ever brought to an RPG. It also had one of the most innovative RPG combat systems, with an incredible combo scheme and a lot of party control. I could do without its prior cast of characters and universe, but would love to see another Tales title with a storyline from a third party.
Lets hope they keep the control scheme from the Gamecube rather than trying to shoehorn some Wii controls onto the title. Definitely a title to keep a close eye on.Bozanimal
I agree..!! The battlesystem is really all I remember about it at this point, hehe!
Does anyone have a better scan of these that's more readable..? Or, what magazine and month is this from?

That's exactly what all the reviews said. Cool gameplay, cool art st1le, crappy overworld map and cliche story.
Momo can you read Japanese?
Um, I won't promise anything, since I'm still studying, but I might be able to help read it :)
Momo-yan
Well consider it a part of your study;)
You could be our resident translator! Gambatte
