im currently devating on whether or not i should get the orange box on 360. the pc version is not an option for me anymore because tf2 is a huge factor for me and i downloaded it for the free tf2 weekend and it didn't run all that well on my computer. I pretty much had to put it on the loswest settings and the framerate would still drop a ton, which puzzles me because the half life 2 demo ran almost perfectly at the default settings.

I heard that valve doesnt support team fortress 2 on 360, the controls dont exactly translate to the 360, and not nearly as many people play tf2 on 360 as pc, but am i at least able to get a decent experience iwth this version?

Its a decent game on the 360, but not that many people play it on the system, the controls are fine with the game, but it just doesn't have a strong following on the consoles, personally I wouldn't get it on the consoles.

I have it for the 360 and play it often. I have never had any hard time finding games to play in. I enjoy it, and the bundle is a good buy, if you haven't played any of the other games. And even if you have I think it is still worth it.

its has a small community, but its players arent really dedicated to the game. itll probably be dry in a couple years. i want to set up a tf2 360 community website, but im pretty broke and like i said, the community isnt really dedicated to the game. you can always upgrate your pc btw.

compared to the pc versions, this game kinda looks like crap. but that crap is a gjreat experience still. the controls are perfect and you will always find a game to play. though it probably has half the number of people playing it than the pc version. the major downside about getting tf2 for consoles however is that the new map still hasn't been released. at least you get another potential 1000 achievement points

what are your current specs?

and if you really cant get any cash, then just get the 360 version. its not bad, its just that it could be better. a lot better.

It's not fair to compare any console game to it's PC counterpart. Any halfway decent rig will blow away the 360 or PS3. Still, I love TF2 on the 360. I still play it a lot!:D

It is decent but it is nothing like the PC version. I think the community on 360 is already dead while the PC community continues to grow thanks to the free updates and free trials.
