I just played Pong few times at my uncle's neighbor. I read several articles about Magnavox Odyssey. I was not playing it yet. I just knew about Magnavox Odyssey 2. I did have not seen other two first generation consoles yet except both mentioned in the article.
not every one was born god ,, six ring you are really expecting every one to know what pong or all those other ones are you have to be well over 20 even near 30 to know about them i heard a bout pong read about it but i never owned a first gen console,
thus the earliest console i own is an atari 2600 and nes is what i started on

But then again judging by your two comments on this post it's obvious you are the one taking offense to this. It's ok that you don't know. Don't throw a fit. It will be alright.

No i didn't own any of them, in fact other than pong iv'e never played any. I just try to know the history of things i'm interested in. I guess that's just me. I've been on this site for a couple years and i know there are a lot of young people on here (i'm 25 by the way), but they always seem very knowledgable about video games for the most part, so i just assumed more people would know more about the history of the industry they seem to know so much about now. That's all. Like i said before, my comment was a state of shock nothing else. My fault, i didn't mean to offend anyone.

No i didn't tell "us" to settle down. I told "you". Since you felt it was necessary to tell me to settle down like i was criticizing the poster, and then made a slick response in your other post, it was obvious you were fired up about this for some reason.

No. You're not the only one. I've been collecting for a long time. One look at my collection of games should confirm that. Retro is the way to go. :)
