the best fps on ps2

what fps do you think is best on ps2? imo black is the best

Timesplitters 2 possibly my most played game of that era... Though, my copy was on the GC, we played the mess out of it on PS2 as well.

I loved Red Faction 1.

"Deus Ex", "Cold Winter", "Fire Warrior", "No One Lives Forever", "Half-Life", "Tribes: Aerial Assault" and "Return to Wolfenstein" were all FPS which I have never traded in because I had the best time with them... your milage may very, but they were REALLY good to me!

Black plays like a next gen shooter. Nothing else on the ps2 plays like it. It's a bit on the short side and isn't all that deep, but it is the most fun.

The biggest problem with Black is that it ruins every other fps on ps2. You pretty much have to get a ps3 after playing it.

Im sure im one of the few that loved playing Unreal Tournament and Quake Arena. We had some great splitscreen battles on those..Just plain freakin fun all night long for months.

Even though I technically don't own a PS2, at least not until my cousin sends me one. I'll have to say "Half-Life", "Timesplitters 2" and "Goldeneye Rogue Agent."

Out of the few I played, Red Faction, and Time Splitters Future Perfect.

The ps2 doesnt have many FPS, also good ones. But there is a few.

You can also try Red Faction 2. I prefer 1 though. Also Deus ex the conspiracy, even though its a FPS/RPG mixed. It has an awesome story though.

Also these are just the few I have played. Im sure theres others. People mention time splitters. But this is from my perspective and this is what I have played. I mostly play FPS on my original xbox.

Even now after playing next gen Black is still my favourite just ahead of COD 4

Red faction, and BLACK. Oh, and 007:Agent under Fire.. multi-player in that game was something to remember.

Black was definitely fun but the best overall package by a mile was TimeSplitters 2. XIII was the best story-driven FPS on the console.wonderboy_46

Black wasn't the best FPS on PS2 but it was my favorite becuase it looked so cool.

I'm not sure what it was... but something was just not right in TS3. It lacked something that TS2 had. I could never pin down what it was though.
