Shinobi, Golden Axe... sadly I remember the games but not the names to them and seeing as I no longer have my Genesis
Good Luck
For stuff not mentioned, try Maximum Carnage. X-Men 2: Clone Wars, Rocket Knight Adventures, and Ranger X....particularly that game. Ranger X is a personal favorite of mine, pretty challenging game too.Saruman1719
I wish I could eliminate that lame game (Max carnage) out of my mind.
The only reason i own a sega genesis is for one game. SHADOWRUN!! I would probably get the mutant league games, speedball, skitchin(its like road rash only on rollerblades lol), I was thinking about getting toe-jam and earl games. That was so long ago im not sure if I understood how to play those completely. Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the sun or something like that. Lastly there was this game i cant get out of my head. I didnt get to play it very much but it seemed really awesome at the time. It was this fantasy kingdom game and you got to have ogre's and fairies, and all these other wierd units, and they faught on this map..... I dont know the name of it but man I would love to replay that game cuz I only have good memories of it. _AbBaNdOn
Master of Monsters? No Fairies or Ogres, but there were Angels and Trolls...
Even if not, I can't help but recommend it. I'd also like to reiterate Mutant League Football, Shining Force Series, and Phantasy Star Series.
Hmmm no i dont think so. The battlefields were sqaure and they had walls all around them. Your units started on one side and other guy started on the other..
Edit* Hmmm I think it was King's Bounty but all the picture's I have seen of that game dont really bring back any memories. Anyways I added a genesis games list section to my NES game list lol. I didnt own a genesis but i did rent it a few times. Here are the games i put in it.
Budokan
D&D Warriors of the Eternal Sun
Hard Drivin'
king's bounty
M1 Abrams Battle Tank
Mutant League Football/hockey
Shadowrun
SKitchin'
Speedball 2
Syndicate
Toe Jam & Earl 1-2
Phantasy Star IV, and Shining Force II
Sega CD- Lunar the Silver Star Story, and Lunar the Eternal Blue, I own only few Genesis games. I will try to get more games.

Duh, how could I forget King's Bounty? I played that game to death! Fun, but let me be the first to tell you that it has the MOST repetitive music I've heard in any game. I'm pretty sure it's a 45 second song that's looped throughout the game.
Toe Jam & Earl is a clas-sic of epic proportions. I still play that with my son and daughter every now and then and they LOVE it.
