Twisted Metal 2 is my favorite PlayStation game.

I like games that lean toward being less linear: FPS, Racing, Sports (somethimes), Action, Fighting, because I like that the outcome can change each time I play the game.

While Resident Evil, Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid (and sequels) aren't bad games, they tend to have a lot more linear design. By the way, I actually own RE (remake), 2 and 3 on gamecube, FF 7 and 8 (ports) on PC, and MGS Twin Snakes for gamecube.

Metal Gear Solid is my favorite PS1 game of all time. And it's the only PS1 game I kept, I have a launch date title of MGS :).

My favourite is a close tie between MGS and FFVII... i'm not sure if I can choose between the two...

For the best, I think Metal Gear Solid was, but Final Fantasy VII seemed to be the game that made the biggest splash.

In my opinion, Spyro: Year of the Dragon is the most enjoyable game for the Playstation. I just had hours upon hours of fun searching for all the dragon eggs and gems.

I would say FF7 if not for the graphics, so I would choose FF8 instead, also because of the story and gameplay.

Seriously, you guys are missing the 'boat' here..........The best game of all time (PSone or not) is Castlevania : Symphony Of The Night. Nothing else compares to it IMO.
